Is it possible that Movado could make an even more affordable luxury watch? The answer is, yes, and it comes in the form of the ESQ Collection. The ESQ watch brand is manufactured by Movado, and is as full of artistic style and flare as their watches have always been. The ESQ Swiss line was released in 1992 and is comprised of quality made, aesthetically appealing timepieces for both men and women. The elements used in the crafting of these watches is of the finest quality, including materials like carbon fiber, steel, and ceramic. With all of the Movado ESQ watches retailing between $195 and $495, it’s easy to see why they have gained such public appeal. The use of Swiss movements and solid materials, such as stainless steel, give these watches a well made look and feel, and their style is phenomenal. The Filmore Collection is one of my favorites. The styling is classically traditional, and the watches have soft and elegant lines. The symmetry is that of old world craftsmanship, with modern accents.
The Men’s Filmore Stainless-Steel watch is a really handsome piece. It features an unusually shaped dial, in polished steel, with a scratch resistant mineral crystal. It has a sub dial for the small second feature, and vintage blue hour hands. This is a Swiss Quartz model, featuring black Roman numerals to mark the hours. The case measures 37mm in diameter and 7 mm in thickness. The bracelet is in a polished stainless-steel and comes in a 8 inch length. The 07300964 ESQ by Movado men’s stainless-steel watch retails for only $295.00.
Another Movado ESQ model, with traditional appeal is the two toned silver dial men’s watch. This watch features a round, elegant dial, complete with a textured styling in the center of the dial, and classic Roman numeral hour markers. It has a push down crown in gold. The hands are in gold and the bezel is crafted of steel. The look of this men’s timepiece is old world and sophisticated. Believe it or not, this watch sells for just over $300.00.
